Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to review studies on the speech perception of Korean in order to examine suggestions for successful rehabilitation and intervention. For the purpose, first, the studies on vowel spaces and mental representation of Korean vowels were reviewed, and then the study on the influences of visual information in place of articulation in korean speech perception was reviewed from the viewpoint of rehabilitation and intervention of speech. And the suggestions of the results of the studies were discussed in aspect of speech intervention. Further research problems were discussed in the final section.
